Call Me Crazy but . . . I Really Didn’t Know (Blow My Brains)

Blow My Brains by Dazee Dizzle – Lyrics at the end

I will have to be completely honest.  I went without local news for about six months.  I moved and chose Netflix instead of a traditional television provider.

Netflix was cool but, I wanted some shows they did not have so, I chose Hulu.  Hulu was awesome but, I quickly realized I still did not have access to the local news. (The national news came a day late)

Eventually, I broke down and bought some good old bunny ears for my television.  Yay timely reporting.

The ISIS thing was all over the national and local news.  I have a double album titled the Isis Spacejet Chronicles.  I could have sworn Isis is the name of an Egyptian goddess.

What the hell does ISIS mean?  I began to think Islamic State Insurgent Supporters, Islamic State Ignorance Starters, International Supremacist Insurgent Slaves, hell if I know.

I watch news story after news story.  ISIS this, ISIS that. They look like the contras or the rebels or something.

Then I hear the US going to give aid to their enemies.

Local news says there are terrorists in the Midwest.

OK seriously, what the hell does ISIS mean?  I do a search online. Islamic State Iraq and Syria.  Are we at war with two whole countries?  I thought they were the rebels.

Did congress agree to go to war with Iraq and Syria? That just Blew My Brains.

Blow My Brains (passive aggression)

You blow my brains

With your constant changing

Telling people I’m insane

You kill me with your games

Make me wanna think

That you’re helping me out

But I know just what you’ll gain

You blow my brains

With your constant changing

Telling people I’m insane

You kill me with your games

Make me wanna think

That you’re helping me out

But I know just what you’ll gain

How can I trust

In your intentions

When you let me know the plans

Then you switch them

And If I don’t agree with you

You blame it all on

My condition

And I can’t believe

You would try to deceive

All the people in my life

I’ll just leave

If it’s what you perceive

The life I’m living

Just ain’t right

You blow my brains

With your constant changing

Telling people I’m insane

You kill me with your games

Make me wanna think

That you’re helping me out

But I know just what you’ll gain

You blow my brains

With your constant changing

Telling people I’m insane

You kill me with your games

Make me wanna think

That you’re helping me out

But I know just what you’ll gain

You do one thing

Then you change your mind

It’s so apathetic

And I know it’s a sign

Got me so confused

Wanna press rewind

I know this thing won’t work

It’s just a matter of time

I hear how you’re talking

And see how your’re walking

And somehow it all just

Don’t add up

You think I don’t hear you

I try to stay clear of you

Before you change

My whole game up

You blow my brains

With your constant changing

Telling people I’m insane

You kill me with your games

Make me wanna think

That you’re helping me out

But I know just what you’ll gain

You blow my brains

With your constant changing

Telling people I’m insane

You kill me with your games

Make me wanna think

That you’re helping me out

But I know just what you’ll gain

I’m focused like a spotlight

And I love you

Even though we fight

But you’ve gotta quit judging

Because I rock

And I ain’t budging

I make it my policy

To focus my energy on me

You should just do you

Cause in the end

That’s all that you can do
