Stupid 9/20 Update

I’ve been working on this one for the past couple of weeks. I thought about calling this song, “Users” but I don’t like to be used.
6/25/23- I Almost forgot to mention, that I recorded this in my apartment. My home studio receives signals from a nearby airport, the bus stop, and a police station. The signal interference is massive however, all of the voices in the song are in fact mine.
Those frequencies affect my DAW (Digital audio workstation).
I also was super self-conscious about my hair so I decided on this look with my natural color. As far as the song, I shortened the intro and made the bridge more interesting but I still might need to increase the volume on the vocals.
Still needs work so I might get a new picture again!
7/17 Below is the new mix and artwork. I didn’t like how the text was all jumbled. I also think that the vocals need to be raised still but I am having some playback issues. I may have to use my speakers.
7/25 I am afraid to load up the project file with the original vocal. My antivirus is going haywire. I did a little with the mp3, it’s slightly better.
9/19 I had to upgrade my software (Studio One+). I did a hard reset of Windows and then everything was working much better. I got some more volume and I removed some of the extra air coming through on the vocals
9/20 After taking a listen to the track it still seemed low on the volume so, I decided to increase my threshold for volume (due to the added bits finally, Studio One, I seriously thought that maybe Presonus was just cool with 32). Now I just have to get these limits removed so I can get just a hair closer to 0. Digital Mastering whew. I also messed around with the mastering plugins and decided on one of the newer ones Exciter II.

like a different leaf from the same tree

doing the same thing in the same game
so you can’t be yourself give your work to someone else

and practice bending all the rules
risk jail for these other fools
