Back in the early 2000’s it seemed like everyone needed a mixtape.  On the other hand, the mixtapes actually had original music on them.  As an audio producer I knew I had to make one.  However, for some reason mine were sounding like albums.  I made two, Bang My Sh!t (full of original electronic tracks) and the self-titled Friday Knight (which was a rap record).

Fast forward to the present.  Now the mixtapes have artists delivering their lyrics over other people’s tracks.  Which has gained popularity over the years.  Since I was actually trying to sell my writing at the time, I decided to deliver the lyrics over other people’s different tracks.  Who knows, maybe an already successful track could sell the lyrics.  Anyhow, I visited www.eatinghiphop.com and downloaded a few.  I posted a couple of the songs on www.reverbnation.com.  After a few streams, I decided to ditch the downloads in favor of my original music.

My machine was attacked and www.reverbnation.com probably passed the music around in some way.  I have lyrics over other people’s tracks somewhere in the world. Don’t be surprised, I can write anything.
