21st Century STI Prevention – Ms. Right Now 08/23 Update

One of my greatest hopes is to one-day find my soul-mate, get married, and live happily ever after.  Unfortunately, I have yet to find the right person.  In the meantime, what’s a girl to do?

I attempted to be celibate a few years back, I hated it and it was one of the worst experiences of my life.  As a woman, I thought somehow my, “purity” would attract the right guy.  I was so horny and frustrated.

A couple of years later, I realized that I am no closer to my prince charming and I need to get laid.  I started dating and got some every now and again but, no committed relationship.  I started to worry.  I don’t want to end up with too many sexual partners and some kind of infection.  On top of that, some guys don’t want to use protection and they are non-committal (Which, I usually find out in a compromising position).  Sometimes the condom just breaks, which is too often.  I thought I was gonna have to give up doggystyle because I don’t know what they are doing back there.

I got tested for STI’s multiple times.  I can’t live like this, never getting any or taking a huge risk.

I went to Howard-Brown Health and got a prescrption for PReP (pre-exposupre prophylaxis).  It is a HIV prevention drug that blocks HIV 99% of the time.  I just started.  For obvious reasons, this is genius.

In order to take Prep, patients can not have HIV.  Before my first prescription, I was given an HIV test. I cant recall whether it was monthly or bi-weekly but I was tested for HIV regularly while on Prep.  I had a really good time with a couple of lovers:)

Not my future husband

But you turn me on

Just tonight and before dawn

Kiss you everywhere for fun

As soon as you put this condom on

Respect my body all the time

And you ain’t gotta play games

With my mind

I am giving you all the signs

And you ain’t gotta feed me

Stupid lines

Right now

You’re driving me crazy

But I don’t wanna

Have your baby

We  can do this safely

And tomorrow

I’ll call you maybe

Right now

You’re driving me crazy

But I don’t wanna

Have your baby

We  can do this safely

And tomorrow

I’ll call you maybe

Wanna buy me a ring – no!

Walk down the aisle – no!

Introduce me to your mama – no!

Meet your kids – no!

Find a place to live – no!

Test together – no!

And wait three months – Oh no!

Then why you condom breaking? – no!

All I really know is

I want you tonight

And all I’m really thinking about

Is can you do me right?

I can’t take you home with me

Cause that would be too soon

But we could go to the motel

And maybe get a room

Right now

You’re driving me crazy

But I don’t wanna

Have your baby

We  can do this safely

And tomorrow

I’ll call you maybe

Right now

You’re driving me crazy

But I don’t wanna

Have your baby

We  can do this safely

And tomorrow

I’ll call you maybe

Wanna buy me a ring – no!

Walk down the aisle – no!

Introduce me to your mama – no!

Meet your kids – no!

Find a place to live – no!

Test together – no!

And wait three months – Oh no!

Then why you condom breaking? – no!

I just wanna say yes to you

Cause tonight you look so fine

I want you to be my lover

And we can do it all night

Yes I might have had a few

And it looks like you have too

But still I know just what I want

And that baby is you

Wanna buy me a ring – no!

Walk down the aisle – no!

Introduce me to your mama – no!

Meet your kids – no!

Find a place to live – no!

Test together – no!

And wait three months – Oh no!

Then why you condom breaking? – no!

Plus I’ve got some female ones

And they are so fun

Feels really good to the both of us

Even with the condom on

Just don’t try to get around the shit

Cause that would be so dumb

I wouldn’t be turkey basting

And I don’t like condom breaking

Right now

You’re driving me crazy

But I don’t wanna

Have your baby

We  can do this safely

And tomorrow

I’ll call you maybe

Right now

You’re driving me crazy

But I don’t wanna

Have your baby

We  can do this safely

And tomorrow

I’ll call you maybe

“it is now 2023 and I forgot to tell you about what I decided after the study. You should take it with food. I think the premise is that you need to take it anyway no matter what, but if you can help it take it with food.”
